Transport & Sanctuary Access
Safety. Security. Serenity.
✈️ Advanced Cargo Transit
For families living outside of driving distance, we coordinate specialized air travel. We do not use standard "pet shipping" services. Instead, we book through **Live Animal Certified** cargo departments that provide pressurized, temperature-controlled environments identical to the passenger cabin.
Custom Travel Crates
Our crates are reinforced, double-walled, and custom-fitted with fine mesh to prevent any limb protrusion while allowing 360-degree airflow.
Hydration & Nutrition
Crates feature spill-proof "Lixit" water systems and a 24-hour supply of high-moisture fruits (grapes/melons) to ensure hydration during transit.
The Comfort Layer
We include a "Scent-Bound" blanket from our nursery and a plush companion toy to reduce stress during the flight.
Ground Handling
Your monkey is the *last* to be loaded and the *first* to be offloaded by specialized handlers, minimizing time spent on the tarmac.
🏠 On-Site Pickup & Visitation
We welcome families to Tiny Tails Sanctuary to collect their new companions. However, to protect the health of our colony and your future pet, we enforce a Strict Bio-Security Protocol. No exceptions.
-
Required
Scheduled Appointments Only We do not allow walk-ins. Pickups must be scheduled 14 days in advance to allow for final veterinary health clearance and paperwork preparation.
-
Required
Health Screening Visitors must not have had any respiratory illnesses (coughs, colds, flu) or fever within 7 days of their visit. Primates are highly susceptible to human viruses.
-

Sanitization Station Upon arrival, all guests must utilize our shoe-sanitization baths and medical-grade hand sanitizer. In certain nursery areas, face masks and gloves may be required.
-
Strict
Limited Party Size To maintain a calm environment for the animals, we limit visitation to two (2) adults. Small children and outside pets are strictly prohibited from entering the sanctuary grounds.
🤝 The Handover Experience
Whether picking up in person or meeting at the airport, the "Handover" is a structured 30-minute process:
- Document Review: We walk you through the USDA Health Certificate, Vaccination Records, and the 5-Year Guarantee.
- Observation Period: We observe the monkey's behavior and energy levels to ensure they have transitioned the journey (or the excitement of pickup) perfectly.
- Physical Check: A final head-to-tail visual inspection is performed in your presence.
- First Feeding: We provide the first meal in your care to demonstrate proper feeding techniques and hydration checks.
